The Lobster Club
The modern Japanese restaurant that brought downtown cool back to midtown
The Lobster Club is a glamorously laidback Japanese restaurant by Major Food Group occupying the onetime home of The Brasserie, the storied 1980s eatery known for its around-the-clock service and anything-can-happen atmosphere. This spirit infuses every aspect of The Lobster Club, the first restaurant in America designed by renowned architect Peter Marino, where the menu presents deeply satisfying interpretations of Japanese classics.

THE CUISINE
The Lobster Club’s wide-ranging menu features inspired takes on everything from gyoza and yakitori to katsu-style wagyu sandos. Each main is accompanied by a delightful and extravagant array of sauces—a Lobster Club signature.
Every item is designed to be shared and is beautifully complimented by an incredible cocktail selection, sakes to suit every taste, and a wine list that frequently ranks among the best in the United States.
THE SUSHI
Our sushi is prepared with fish flown in daily from Tokyo’s Toyosu market, while the selection of grilled entrées elevates teppanyaki to new heights.
